JYAML for Joomla! 1.6?

When doing google searches there seems to be an indication that an install of JYAML for Joomla! 1.6 is being worked on. I've probably wrongly assumed that the current JYAML version used for Joomla! 1.5 is workable. I've installed the Component and it published itself. I've attemtped to install the remaining files and get the following error:

	Failed loading XML file
C:\....wamp\www\j16b3\tmp\install_4c25ba7433436\config.xml
XML:  Start tag expected, '<' not found 
JInstaller::Install: Cannot find Joomla XML setup file

The config.xml reads:

published=0

and

published=0
each_case=1
main_selector=.subcolumns
sub_selector=.article_column_inner

without XML tags. I'm guessing that the syntax is missing tags in addition to the missing "<"... that is unless the tags are contained in the main XML files.

When I do publish the balance of the extentions the admin and site produces blank screens.

Hello,
JYAML 3.0.4 not work with Joomla1.6. The XMLs are not similar Joomla1.5 and the Joomla Framework has made some changes. And btw. 1.6 has no Legacy support.

Im currently working on JYAML for Joomla!1.6.
An official release comes after Joomla1.6 has published as stable.

Is there a development version I can play with? My site is on a localhost and not for production.
