Default drupal yaml layouts

hi i was wondering how would i use a specific layout lets say yaml_2col_31 as the main theme and no extra layouts? i find it confusing with the main theme and various layouts because the css to edit is all over.. like in the main theme and then in the yaml core folder >_<. how would i edit the template.php file to do so?

Default Re: drupal yaml layouts

I would try to use an editor for editing text based files.

It's best to use yaml_simple or you use the base theme. If there is no content in the sidebars the sidebars will be hidden. By this way you get what you'd like, but you have other options, too.
