Administrator side not working

Hi,

I have found that the administrator side for JYAML is not working when I attempt to edit files and save changes through the pop up window.

The [delete design] link doesn't work (when I attempt to delete a copied design from the template).

When I attempt the [export design] link this also doesn't work. It gives the result:

Unsupported compression type 'tar' Supported types are 'gz' and 'bz2'. "

The [Global Template Configuration] button gives a blank screen and continuously says "loading..." but never displays anything.

I've tried using multiple browsers ( Firefox 3.5.7, IE8, Safari 4.0.4) and it does not work on any of them.

I am running Joomla Version 1.5.15 with JCE 1.5.6 editor as default as recommended by YAML.

I am running the latest YAML complete package 3.0.3

Can anyone please help? What am I doing wrong? What advice can anyone share some tips with me?
