default_filter.xml is not compatible with .netids

Hi All,

The default_filter.xml which is provided in website (the homepage) is not compatible with .netIDS

I am not sure how it is happening. Below are the facts

I am using the filter provided with 1.0.3 version which provides directory traversal if i use the below URL (during post, without excluding the scanheader option)
http://localhost:2320/web/contact.aspx?profileid=2

but today i thought of updating my filter file with updated one. so i downloaded the file from website. When i thought of replacing the same, i had a doubt whether it is compatible. I took a backup from the system and replaced the old with new updated file.

But for some strange reasons the same URL is not providing the intrusion exception.

There is no changes in XML Schema

No idea what is happening and now i am in dilleama whether to update or not to update.

Hmmm - Unfortunately I can't test this. Were you able to find out which rule causes the problems with .NETIDS?
